How far in advance should I book?
Couples typically book between 6-18 months in advance. Dates can fill up quickly, so I recommend reserving your date as soon as you have a venue confirmed!
Sometimes there may still be availability as little as 2-4 months prior to your date, especially for Friday or Sunday events. It never hurts to ask!
What do your collections include?
Collections are based on hours of coverage, and a digital gallery of edited images is always included! Collections can also include an engagement session, a second photographer, a custom album, and parent albums! I can tailor any collections to include exactly what you're looking for. Contact me for more info!
In what areas do you work? Do you travel for Destination Weddings?
I am based in Ulysses KY, which is halfway between Ashland and Pikeville (near Louisa, Paintsville, and Inez). I serve this area without a travel fee.
I will gladly cover weddings as far west as Lexington, KY and as far east as Charleston, WV; a small travel fee will be included in your quote.
I take a very limited number of destination weddings, but am always happy to consider your event depending on my schedule! Please reach out with your date & location and I'll let you know my availability and send you a quote.
Do you recommend a Second Photographer?
If you would like simultaneous coverage of both parties getting ready, or extra angles during the ceremony & reception, you can choose a package with a 2nd Photographer or add this to your collection à la carte.
If you aren't sure whether or not a second photographer would be helpful on your wedding day we can chat about the details (locations, guest count, venue size, etc) and I'll give you my personal recommendation!
What is your turn-around time and how many images should I expect?
I usually post a "sneak peek" within 48 hours, and the rest of your gallery should be ready within about 4 weeks! You're more than welcome to check in any time for an estimated finish date. I typically deliver over 500 images for an 8-hour wedding day. This can fluctuate depending on the timeline & details of the day, but don't worry- I'll always share an abundance of great images with you!
Can I make changes to my collection after booking?
For sure! If you aren't certain about what you would like to include in your wedding collection you can reserve your date by booking ANY collection. Changes can be made up to 2 weeks prior to the event.
Can I order wall art & prints through you?
Yes, you are welcome to order framed art, canvas, or metal as well as high quality prints from the professional lab I use, which is conveniently connected to your online gallery!
The added bonus? You can share the gallery link with family members, which allows them to choose their own prints & sizes and place an order without adding that work to YOUR plate! Newlyweds have better things to do, right?!
Your contract also includes a print release in case you'd prefer to order from another source.
Can my wedding be published in a magazine or blog?
If you're interested in having your wedding or engagement session featured in a magazine or online publication just let me know! I would LOVE to take care of the submission process for you and find out if we can get your beautiful day featured! I'm happy to submit to your favorite publication, or we can take a look at a long list of options to find the best match!
Because publications do require release permissions, please give me a heads-up before pursuing this on your own. I'll be happy to oblige!
